If you are thinking of selling your property, you must by law have a Home Information Pack for your property before you begin marketing.

A Home Information Pack (also known as a HIP) provides key information to a prospective purchaser and may help to avoid delays in the conveyancing process. A well presented HIP may also assist in the marketing of your property.

We have an experienced conveyancing team who can prepare a HIP speedily and efficiently enabling you to begin marketing your property without unnecessary delay. Further, we can provide Home Information Packs from £220* all inclusive to our clients who instruct us on their sale: we make no administration charge for preparing the HIP – you only pay for the out of pocket expenses for the mandatory documents (for example, the Energy Performance Certificate, the searches and copies of your title deeds).

Some sale transactions are exempt from the requirement to have a HIP. However in the majority of these cases a Seller will be required to provide an Energy Performance Certificate (also known as EPC). Although we do not have an in-house Energy Assessor, we can arrange for an Energy Assessor to prepare an EPC for you at a very competitive rate.
